The Bilstein steering damper for the 2008-2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty takes the wander and shimmy out of the steering. Older trucks develop a nervousness through the wheel over rough pavement, and this settles it.
Bilstein invented the monotube gas damper and has been building suspension in Germany since 1954. Every unit is built to the same standard the company supplies to the manufacturers themselves, and it is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
