Bilstein B6 shocks firm up the 1968-1974 Chevrolet C20 Pickup without lifting or lowering it. The truck stops wallowing over dips and stays settled whether it is empty or working.
Inside is Bilstein's monotube design, with the gas and oil separated by a floating piston. That keeps damping consistent when the road turns rough and the unit gets hot, where a lesser damper would go soft.
