Are TEIN suspension kits compatible with my OEM setup?

Yes. TEIN shocks, struts, and suspension kits are designed to fit OEM setups across a wide range of vehicles. 

During the design process, TEIN’s engineers use 3D models of OEM components to ensure that their products will be a good fit for the majority of OEM setups on the market. If you have a custom setup and want to check if a particular TEIN model will suit, be sure to ask us.

How long do TEIN coilovers typically last?

For everyday road use, TEIN coilovers last around 3 years, averaging 36,000 miles. Track and racing use puts a higher toll on the dampers and suspension, requiring more frequent maintenance and possibly replacement.

Can TEIN suspension parts be serviced or replaced?

For everyday use, overhauls are typically done every 18,600–25,000 miles, typically lasting 2-3 years. If you are taking to the track, these parts will need to be replaced or overhauled more frequently due to the demanding driving conditions.

Can TEIN coilovers be adjusted for track vs street use?

TEIN adjustable coilovers offer the ability to fine-tune the driving experience to suit your needs. 

Popular models like the Street Advance Z enable you to boost height and damping in one go, while the more sophisticated models like the Flex Z enable you to raise or lower height without affecting damping. If you are looking for something that will serve day-to-day use, the Street Advance Z is an excellent option.

Do TEIN coilover kits come with everything needed for installation?

Aside from OEM parts used for installation, TEIN coilover kits come with everything you need to enhance your car. Models like the Flex Z come readily assembled, with no need to swap out OEM parts for installation. 

Others contain coilovers, springs, mounts, and spanner wrenches for assembly, ready to be assembled with your OEM or custom setup. Be sure to check specifications for each product, and get in touch with us if you have any questions.
